Factor Bikes in Denver
Factor builds some of the most precise carbon frames on the planet, and our Platt Park bike shop knows them inside and out. We can special order any Factor model in your size and spec, then fit and tune it for the way you ride Colorado. Give us a call or stop by the shop to get your Factor bike build started.
Motorsport Carbon, Tuned for Colorado Dirt
Factor came out of British motorsport engineering, and that obsession with stiffness, weight, and precision shows in every frame they build. They own their own production facility, which means the carbon layup is controlled from raw fiber to finished frame. Out here, that translates to a bike that feels quick and lively on a steep alpine climb at 10,000 feet, where every gram you carry starts to feel personal. The full-suspension Lando XC frame weighs in around 2.1kg, and the hardtail frame comes in at a claimed 850g. That’s light enough to make the switchback climbs on Green Mountain feel like descents.
The geometry is where Factor earned our respect. The Lando XC runs a 67-degree head angle and a 75.5-degree seat angle, so it stays calm and planted when you’re dropping into loose-over-hardpack chunk at Buffalo Creek, then puts you right over the pedals when the trail points back uphill. Its single-pivot design with flexing seatstays keeps the suspension efficient, and the bearing count low, which our service team appreciates come tune-up time. On the gravel side, the Aluto pairs short chainstays and a lowered bottom bracket with a steep head tube, giving you sharp, confident handling on washboard county roads and rocky forest service climbs alike.

Lando HT
The hardtail sibling uses a claimed 850g carbon frame designed around a 110mm fork, with room to run anywhere from 100mm to 140mm depending on how rowdy you like your hardtail. A 68.5-degree head angle keeps steering quick and precise for racing and long-distance events. It’s the bike for riders who want every pedal stroke to hit the dirt immediately.
Lando XC Fox
This is Factor’s full-suspension cross-country machine, built on a full carbon 29er frame with 120mm of front travel and 115mm out back. The Fox build pairs a Fox Factory Float 34 fork with a Fox Float SL shock, so you get supple traction on rocky climbs and solid support when you push hard into high-speed descents. Its progressive geometry makes it a true marathon bike that still loves to play on the way down.
Aluto
Factor’s all-road gravel bike is optimized for 45mm tires, with clearance up to 47mm in the rear and 52mm up front. A slightly taller stack opens up a comfortable position for long days, while downtube storage and 1x or 2x drivetrain compatibility let you set it up for everything from fast group rides to overnight adventures. A Black Inc. integrated barstem with flared drops gives you extra control when the gravel gets loose.
The Factor Road Bike Lineup
Not every Factor ride ends on dirt. The same motorsport-born engineering behind the Lando and Aluto goes into Factor’s road line, and we can special order any of these models in your size and spec, then fit them to you here in Denver.

ONE: Factor’s most aerodynamic road bike to date, built for sprints, flat stages, and fast pavement. If your favorite rides involve hammering the Cherry Creek Reservoir loop or chasing wheels in a crit, this is the bike that rewards every watt you put into it.
OSTRO VAM: The do-everything race bike in the lineup, light enough for long climbs and aero enough to stay fast on the flats. Cyclingnews named it the best overall road bike of 2026, and on Colorado roads that balance means one bike that climbs Lookout Mountain as happily as it descends it.
MONZA: Built around a “Race Sunday, Train Monday” idea, the MONZA keeps the OSTRO VAM’s sharp handling but adds a slightly more upright fit, in-frame storage, and room for 34mm tires at a more approachable price. It’s a great fit for riders who log weekday training miles and still want to show up fast for the weekend group ride.
Buy Local, Ride Better: Why Your Factor Belongs at Base Camp
Riding the Front Range puts a lot of miles and a lot of grit through your bike over the course of a season. Steep descents, dusty trails, and big temperature swings all take a toll on drivetrains, brakes, and suspension, even on a frame as well–built as a Factor. Buying from Base Camp gives you a local bike shop that keeps your bike running sharp for every season ahead. Here’s how we do it.
BCC Lifetime Warranty
Every Factor that rolls out of our shop comes with Lifetime Free Adjustments, plus a complimentary first Basic Tune once you’ve put on those break-in miles. Shifting gets sloppy after a muddy spring ride or brakes feel off after a summer of long descents? Bring it in, and we’ll get it right, free, for as long as you own the bike. Picked up a Factor frameset, Rolling Chassis, or second-hand build online? Our $300 Professional Assembly covers component installation, internal routing, and full setup, and it brings your bike into the same lifetime adjustment program.
Custom Fitting & Suspension Tuning
Before any Factor leaves the shop, our mechanics fit it to your body and your riding. Our team will set saddle height and setback, cockpit reach, bar width, and tire pressure based on how and where you ride. On the Lando XC, they set sag and rebound on the Fox suspension for your body weight and trail preferences, whether your Saturday looks like a lunch lap at North Table or a full day in the high country. The first ride should feel like the bike already knows you.
Rider-First Service
Shop at your own pace. Browse the floor, take a Factor out on a demo, and decide when you’re ready. There’s no hard sell and no rush here. Our recommendations come from years of watching which bikes and parts hold up on Front Range trails, and the final call is always yours. Mountain bikers curious about gravel, road riders eyeing dirt, and racers chasing a lighter setup all get the same straight answers.
Take a Factor Out on the Trails You Actually Ride
Spec sheets can only tell you so much. Our premium demo program puts you on a Factor for $150 a day, out on real Front Range trails and gravel roads, so you can feel how it climbs, corners, and descends on your home turf. Love it? You can apply up to $600 of your demo fees directly toward the purchase of your new bike. Demo models and sizes change with our current fleet, so give us a call to see which Factor bikes are ready to ride.
