Our original Denver bike shop opened in the Platt Park neighborhood in 2018, and we immediately set out to make a name for ourselves in town. 					I recently had open heart surgery to replace my mitral valve with a mechanical one and my heart rehabilitation clinical said once you leave here make sure you keep biking. Since then I had replaced my old mountain bike with a new one.  I bought a new mtn bike on the basis the sales associate said “Everyone buys this one”.  After 3 months on it I sold it and bought a gravel bike.  It won't go everywhere like I hoped. My knowledge of bikes is very limited and after 12 bike store visits in multiple states I was just confused.  Every bike store PUSHED a certain bike to purchase even if I hated the color for example. Basecamp Cyclery in Denver was different, Colin was so nice and a pleasure to deal with. I made a fantastic purchase with him and the bike is great for me.

					I came in to test ride an Ibis Ripmo at Base Camp and had a great experience. The bike was actually still in a box the day before and Mo and the staff there worked expeditiously to build it for me. Really appreciated the fast turnaround and the helpful staff at the shop who let me test ride the bike around the neighborhood!

					Cannot thank the team at Base Camp enough.  Had a frame warranty issue on my son’s bike and they were able to get the repair approved with the manufacturer, obtain a replacement frame part and get the bike put back together for us in a short time frame.  Saved his race season!  Super friendly staff.  Thank you so much.

					Over the past few months I’ve had a great experience at BaseCamp. I worked with Harley to help me select & source the mountain bike I wanted. Once it came in they put on all the personal touches I wanted, and helped me get the bike dialed in. Also, their mechanic Mo sourced parts and restored a 1990’s vintage road-bike for my gf that came out flawless! Through all this, Harley and his staff were very helpful with answering all my questions and providing suggestions on upgraded parts and equipment. Really appreciate their shop and look forward to continuing business there.

					Purchased an Ibis Ripmo from them. Great customer service and helped process the Pro's Closet trade up. I worked with Harley and he got me set up.The awesome thing was at the time of this review I was able to feel and view 3 major all mountain bikes: SB130, Hightower, and the Ibis. Base Camp had other options too worth looking at. The staff helped me make a decision and feel confident in my choice with the Ibis.I would highly recommend visiting before the season starts.

					This bike shop is the epitome of why you should support your local bike shop! Harley was super helpful in assisting me purchasing my Yeti MTB and offered several solutions beyond the standard build.  The guys are very friendly and the environment in the shop is super laid back but supportive.  Can't recommend these guys enough!

					These guys slayed the day for me , I went to another bike shop closer to my house before going in to BC and the first shop was not very helpful. The guys at BC dumbed down the repair for me and I bought the parts and fixed my bike in 15 min after returning home. ROCK STAR service , I will go back there every time from this day on.

					What a amazing bike shop. Harley and Sam sold me the best bike ever. I just got back from a bike tour in peru and I worked that bike hard and it took every bit of it.  Great service, great people, amazing mechanics. I even took my bike up to tressle bike park 3 days after I bought my bike , and got a little too excited and crashed and worked the back wheel. Harley immediately got me in the next day and had my bike fixed with a smile. Thanks for everything Harley and Sam. See you guys soon. Way to go running a 10* bike shop.

					The folks at Base Camp Cyclery do it right. I've always wanted to have a local bike shop where I could talk bikes, get repairs, and shop with an honest team - this is the one.  The team at Base Camp is knowledgeable about bikes, repairs, racing, and the community they serve. I bought my first carbon bike from these guys and never felt pressured; instead, I got a great bike with awesome service. 					Base Camp is my favorite bike shop in Denver. They’re incredibly helpful with small and large asks, somehow magically seem to have inventory which in 2021 is not trivial, and carry my favorite brands. While I’m an experienced cyclist I notice how shops treat people who don’t know a ton about bikes and at Base Camp they treat everyone like they’re valued customers. Really appreciate them.

					So it's not often one gives a review after years of frequenting an establishment but I suppose I'm that guy. Base Camp Cyclery is a lot like the 80's TV show "Cheers". Just swap the booze for bikes and there you go. Everyone knows your name when you walk through the door, and they are always there to help fix a problem with a bike quickly or help to find the lates riding gizmo or gadget I just have to have. I have purchase several bikes with Base Camp over the years and they seems to alway put me into the new bike that exceeds my expectations. I can't recommend Base Camp enough.Benjamin Ellefson

					Got a flat tire while riding on the Platte River trail on my ebike. I wish I called here first. After another shop down the street with terrible customer service and communications skills left me in a bind these guys saved definitely save the day.  I was able to stop in, have them fix the flat with no problems and got a new hat too. The guys were really friendly, knowledgeable and professional. ( even when faced with a know it all yet know nothing snarky woman who walked in and aggresivly, rudely and repetitively questioned the guys about parts they had already stated they didn't carry. Before she insulted their knowledge and left.) I'll be back here for sure to get all my bikes worked on and have already recommend it to a few friends. Amazing, thanks again!
