Crank Brothers have re-designed their pedal line for 2010 in the pursuit of better functionality and durability. The most obvious move toward durability with the Candy 3 is the two-piece machined aluminum body. It is of course more durable than the previous resin body, but surprisingly comes without weight penalty. It also still provides that bit of extra platform over the Eggbeater that Candy users have come to love. The pedals are also easily rebuildable. Cartridge outer bearing with needle inner bearing for a long smooth life. Forged scm435 chromoly steel spindle. Cast steel wings. 300 series stainless steel spring. Includes premium brass cleats. Compatible with SPD style two-bolt shoes. 309 grams per pair.
