Brands at One of Denver’s Premium Bike Shops

Premium Bike Brands

When the pandemic hit, people around the country sought socially distant ways to leave the house and get some exercise. Denver’s premium bike shops were no different. Most models were completely sold out within the first two months of quarantine with backorders piling up.

Thankfully, as time passed, shops like Base Camp built up more inventory and delivered orders as scheduled. Here’s what you can expect from the holiday premium bike supply at Base Camp.

New Merchandise

Orbea Rise

Base Camp Cyclery carries Denver’s premium mountain bike brands including Yeti, Santa Cruz, Ibis, Orbea and Norco. We also offer fantastic urban and road bicycles from brands such as Linus and Farraday.

Most recently, we’ve added the Orbea Rise to our shop inventory. Rise is a machine designed to expand your trail experience and bring you closer to the moment. This bike brings you nearer the sensation that less “e” delivers more “bike”. Whether you crave riding greater distances, reaching more epic locations, improving efficiency or increasing the frequency of your adventures, Rise beyond expectations and discover the new standard in MTB.

Norco Shore

This hydro-formed alloy frame is designed with Norco’s Ride Aligned™ Design System . It features the latest in high pivot Horst Link suspension and ride engineering amplify your instincts on modern Freeride trails.

The 180mm Fox Factory 38 FLOAT fork pairs 180mm of rear travel with a Fox Factory DHX2 Factory Coil shock. This creates a rearward axle path that is unaffected by drivetrain forces thanks to an integrated Idler Pulley. The SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain provides quick shifts and efficient pedaling with a wide gear range and Code RSC 4-piston 200mm brakes keep speed where you need it, when you need it.

Norco Torrent

Using Norco’s holistic approach to fit and geometry, the Torrent S1’s unique combination of our next generation of Gravity Tune, longer reach, slacker head tube angle and steep seat tube angle provides a more forward weight distribution within a longer wheelbase. This allows more powerful pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending.

To go along with the basic theme of the butted chromoly frame, we spec’d the Torrent S1 with a Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain. We also gave it some real big bike credibility with a 150mm RockShox Lyrik Ultimate RC2 fork, a burly Praxis Cadet M30 crankset, and robust Shimano M520 4-piston brakes.
