According to Santa Cruz, the new 2022 Bronson is the all-rounder in the newly released line-up. It features updated VPP rear triangle and mullet wheels and chainstay variation based on frame size. As always, the Santa Cruz Bronson remains popular, known as one of the most capable all-rounders in the brand’s portfolio. It really delivers on the trails yet has enough reserves for the occasional trip to the bike park. The new Bronson seems like it may be one of this season’s hottest bikes.
What’s New
This brand-new Bronson still carries all of the well-known features of Santa Cruz’s design. We can look forward to 160- and 150-mm travel (f/r) which packs in enough reserves for a trip or two to the park. The shock length on this bike has been decreased to 230 mm, with the goal of reducing leverage and giving a more sensitive response.
The 2022 Bronson now comes with MX wheels: 29″ up front and 27.5″ in the rear. Staying true to the classic offerings of the Bronson, these wheels will bring in the best of both worlds. Grip advantages of a large wheel at the front and fun and agile handling of a smaller wheel in the rear. The mullet of tires if you will.
The Bronson is available in a wide range of frame sizes, from XS–XL with the XS coming equipped with 27.5-inch wheels front and rear.
